As a continuation of the “Give Your Old Clothes a New Life” initiative launched by the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology, this event reaffirms the belief that the joy of Eid is not solely in wearing new clothes, but in spreading happiness and putting smiles on the faces of children.
Inspired by this humanitarian spirit, the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, in collaboration with the Smile Makers team and the Social Committee of the 6th of October Sporting Club, is proud to launch the campaign “What You Don’t Need, Someone Else Does” in celebration of the blessed Eid al-Adha 2025.
As part of the campaign, a fun-filled carnival will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the 6th of October Sporting Club in 6th of October City, where 100 orphaned children will be welcomed and entertained. The event aims to bring joy to their hearts and make the occasion of Eid truly special for them.
In addition to the carnival, the event will feature a free Eid clothing exhibition, where each child will have the opportunity to choose outfits they love, experience the spirit of giving, and enjoy the festive atmosphere of Eid.
We warmly invite you to support this heartfelt initiative by donating new or gently used clothes in good condition. Your contribution can bring joy to a child and make a lasting impact this Eid.
This initiative is proudly held under the patronage of:
• Mr. Khaled El-Toukhi – Chairman of the Board of Trustees
• Professor Dr. Nehad El-Mahboub – Acting President of the University
• Professor Dr. Rehab Ahmed Abdel Moneim – Dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing
