

















As part of the ongoing and fruitful collaboration between the College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) and the University of Genoa in Italy, the second module of the Digital Dentistry Diploma was held from April 10 to 16. This module addressed pivotal topics in the field of full-mouth rehabilitation and occlusion principles within the framework of digital dental science. Special emphasis was placed on various mechanisms of clinical application, particularly through the use of state-of-the-art digital dentistry equipment, which greatly contributes to highly accurate diagnosis and problem identification—ultimately reflecting positively on the quality of prosthetic restorations delivered to patients.
The module was held under the supervision of a distinguished group of international and local experts, namely:
- Prof. Tosun Tosun, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Atlas University – Istanbul
- Prof. Tarek Salah, Professor of Prosthodontics and former Head of the Prosthodontics Department, Ain Shams University
- Prof. Ahmed Aboul-Fadl, Professor of Prosthodontics at Ain Shams University and Director of the Digital Dentistry Program at Misr University for Science and Technology
- Dr. Haitham Sharshar, Certified Trainer in Digital Dentistry and Founder of the Digital Dentistry Schoology Academy
- Dr. Mohamed Elbehairy, Lecturer of Prosthodontics at Misr University for Science and Technology
The module also included an outstanding hands-on component using a selection of cutting-edge devices, including:
- Bioart Semi-Adjustable Articulator and Facebow
- Occlusense Device for Occlusal Force Recording
- Zebris Jaw Tracker for Monitoring Jaw Movement
- Myowise Device for Measuring Masticatory Muscle Efficiency in the Context of Prosthodontics
